

BIOGRAPHY

Lochlan Shaw is a singer-songwriter, composer, author, poet and photographer from Yorkshire.

Lochlan released his debut EP: And So The Light Returned, on Spotify and other major stores on the 31st May 2021. It was reviewed by magazines such as RGM, Stereo Stickman, and We Write About Music. One of the singles from the EP: Hollywood Clichés
has been played on Amazing Radio UK, Amazing Radio USA, Amazing Radio Folk, Radio New York Live, Radio New York Love Live, Miami Beach Radio and UK Talk Radio. It was also placed on Spotify playlists such as Ditto's Indie Hit list.

Lochlan's second EP: A Part of Me Will Always Be You was released on the 31st October 2022. So far it has been reviewed by Stereo Stickman and Indie Band Guru among other magazines. Two singles from the EP: Then She Moves and I Remember Flower Blossom Hill have been played on Radio New York Live and Radio Rock On Los Angeles respectively. Lochlan's second release expanded his musical direction, taking him from solely performing folk-rock to a more indie/soft-rock sound with more instrumentation and a more expansive, energetic vibe.

Lochlan is also a composer and has composed a series of contemporary piano pieces as well as a series of compositions designed for use in TV or film.

In addition to music, writing is another of Lochlan's outlets. His debut children’s book: The Giant’s Steps, is soon to be available as an ebook. Some of the illustrations from the book are visible on this website. The illustrations are by Michael Dopson. More novels of a variety of genres aimed at older audiences are on the way.
